The Village Treasurer, appointed by the Mayor and Board of Trustees, is the Chief Fiscal Officer for the village acting as financial steward to ensure the ethical and responsible safekeeping of village assets and integrity of the financial information required for effective decision making by the management and the governing body elected by the village residents.
The position of Village Attorney is unique to the Village of Port Chester. Unlike other villages in the State of New York, the Village Attorney is a full-time position, appointed by the Village Manager with an employment contract authorized by the Board of Trustees.
The duties of the Village Clerk include responsibility for the care and custody of all official records and documents of the Village.
The Village Manager shall be the Chief Administrative Officer of Village government operations and is responsible to the Mayor and Board of Trustees for the administration of all Village affairs placed in the Manager's charge.
The Youth Bureau of the Village of Port Chester was established to organize and create a comprehensive plan to provide a positive road map focused on leading our youth towards a safe and successful path to adulthood.
