In light of the inclement weather predicted for our area, DPW is adjusting its garbage & recycling schedule.
Beginning tonight, Monday February 27th at 6 PM, DPW will pick up all garbage and recycling originally scheduled for tomorrow in advance of the forecasted storm system.
Your cooperation and attention in putting your items on the curb this evening starting at 4 PM will give us a head start and lessen the amount of debris in the public right of ways during any potential snowfall and clean up.
As snow is in our forecast, residents should remember to do their part in keeping the roads clear from unnecessary street parking, do their best to refrain from blowing, plowing, or shoveling snow from their own properties into the roads, and keeping an eye out for village plows and first responder vehicles navigating the roads. As snow totals are predicted to call somewhere between 3 inches and 6 inches for our area, please do your best to keep local travel at a minimum.
If a State of Emergency is necessary, Village Management will advise the public of such a declaration at such time.
